“Cole was diagnosed with Autism at the age of three. For years we tried to find him an extra circular activity that would suit his needs. Nothing worked – we felt defeated and so did he. All he really wanted to do was fit in but the Autism always got in the way.

Then we found Horses for Hope – we went to his first lesson with low expectations. But from the very first ride it was like Cole was meant to be there.  He absolutely loves it.  His face lights up the moment he gets on the horse.  I have never seen him so happy.  It is the one thing that gives him true joy.

When he is riding his connection to the horse is so strong that Autism takes a back seat.  The staff is so wonderful – they are so patient with him and you can tell that they really care about the kids. Horses for Hope has been such a blessing to our family and we cannot thank them enough.”
