Festival FAQ
Q: When is the event?
A: The event is October 25, 2025 from 1:00PM to 4:00PM. All ticket sales will end at 3:45PM to ensure that all activities are finished by approximately 4:00PM.
Q: Who can attend?
A: All ages are welcome—even for pony rides! There’s no minimum or maximum age. The only requirement for riding our ponies or horses is that a rider’s weight must be less than 20% of the horse’s total body weight. This ensures the safety of both the rider and horse. We reserve the right to decline any rider who exceeds this limit.
Q: How much do rides cost?
A: Pony rides and hay rides are both $5 each per ride. We do not offer refunds. If you purchase a ride ticket that you do not use, the money will be considered a donation to Horses for Hope, and is non-refundable. All merchandise sales are final as well.
Q: What payment methods are accepted?
A: We accept cash and card. Cash is the easiest payment method. Please note that using a card will incur a small processing fee. Mobile payment apps such as Venmo, CashApp, or PayPal are not accepted at this time.
Q: What should I wear?
A: Closed-toe shoes are required to enter the property, even if you’re not riding a horse. (No Crocs or sandals, please.) We recommend tennis shoes or boots.
Q: Can I explore the property by myself and interact with the horses outside of the festival areas?
A: No. For your safety, please stay in the designated festival areas. Our trained volunteers and staff will be ensuring safe interactions with our horses and a fun experience for everyone. We reserve the right to ask anyone to leave who is found outside the designated areas or who does not follow staff directions.
Q: Will I have a chance to learn more about your programs?
A: Yes! We’ll have information available regarding all of our programs, as well as demonstrations from current riders in our large arena.
Q: Is there free parking?
A: Yes! Free parking is available on-site. Follow signage for a smooth arrival.
Q: Can I bring my own food or drinks?
A: Outside food and beverages are discouraged so that we can safely manage the event. Items such as burgers, hotdogs, and beverages will be available for purchase.
Q: Can I smoke, vape, or consume alcohol on the property?
A: No. We have a strict policy against smoking, vaping, and alcohol, as this is a family-focused event.
