With over 25 years of experience in the equestrian world, Elisabeth Brewer is a dedicated and passionate riding instructor and horse trainer. She is devoted to teaching riders of all ages and skill levels, from beginners to advanced competitors in hunters, jumpers, and dressage.
Elisabeth’s teaching approach focuses on building a strong foundational understanding and ability in horsemanship skills that emphasize safety, mutual respect, and clear communication through the aids. She personalizes her instruction for each individual rider and horse’s needs, fostering confidence and understanding within the partnership. Elisabeth instills correct posture, a balanced seat, and proper execution, ensuring that horse and rider work together harmoniously to reach their full potential.
With over 15 years of experience showing and successfully bringing riders into the Hunter, Jumper, and Dressage show rings, Elisabeth is an accomplished horse trainer skilled in starting, retraining, and rehabilitating horses, as well as refining and educating horses for clientele to progress up the levels.
Furthermore, as a Certified Equine Sports Massage Therapist, Elisabeth practices massage therapy, deepening her belief in prioritizing the horse’s well-being to create an empathetic and respectful relationship, which she considers essential to good horsemanship.
